First View

This is my first Inspection of the 325 at Bob Muller's place, Vehicles of Victory, in ? NY.  Bob is a great guy and took a lot of time answering my novice questions. He went into painstaking detail to make sure that I was totally familiar with what I was getting before purchase.

Initially I was very impressed with the truck. While it had a great deal of surface rust there was almost no rust through. You  have to remember that this is a 60 year old truck in the North East I am lucky there is anything left at all.

Many of the beautiful WW2 trucks have vanished. Fire Trucks are still available because they were purchased surplus by local Fire Departments and usually stored inside.

This truck has rust because it was replaced and moved outside prior to being disposed of by the Fire Department.

The Truck was originally sold to North Babylon, NY Fire Department. This was a Department on Long Island. I have sent them an email inquiring about the truck but have not had a reply.

It was then sold to North River, NY Fire Department. I have been unable to contact them by the internet.

More information will be forthcoming in the Restoration Page
