The G-221 2 Ton trailer was 2 ton trailer used in many different applications as became necessary during the war. It was primarily developed for the Anti-aircraft role hauling searchlights, gun directors, quad 50 AA guns, and generators to power all.

As the war went on many were stripped of their installed components and this versatile 2 ton trailer was used to haul every thing.

M-14 Gun Director

This trailer had a 2 ton capacity mounted on dual walking beam axles with a unitized body and was the basis for many derivative units. All of those are mentioned at left.
