1941 Military Fire Truck This is the recently released Ertl 1/16 scale Chevy 1.5 Ton Army Air Force Fire Truck.
This highly detailed model is based on the 1942 Chevy Military 4x2 Model 125 Crash Truck (of which I have the real thing, see link on bottom of this page)or the 500 Series Military Fire Truck. At over 21 inches long this diecast truck has opening doors, opening hood with detailed engine, removable ladders, and operating steering. The Truck is lettered to represent equipment used by the 8th Air Force 91st Bomb Group (heavy) based in England during the Second World War. This is a very limited production of this model. Model is sold out!
