1940 Navy CargoTruck This is the recently released Ertl 1/16 scale Ford 1.5 Ton Cargo Truck.
This highly detailed model is based on the 1940 Chevy Military 4x2 Model Cargo Truck. At over 14 inches long this diecast truck has opening doors, opening hood with detailed Ford V-8 engine, removable rear cargo stakes, detailed dashboard guages, 750x20 Goodyear tires on Budd rims, Single tail light, and operating steering. This Battleship Grey Truck is lettered to represent equipment used by the Ford Island Naval Air Station during the time of the Pearl Harbor sneak attack which was a prelude to the Second World War. There is a very limited production of this model. We accept PayPal and Money Orders by mail. For now US customers only. The truck was released on 4/25/2004.
